Master Research Day


ENRGISED project made presentations during the third edition of the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering (IDE), Delft University of Technology Master Research Day (MRD). The online meeting took place Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

On this day, we had the opportunity to present IDE design research aimed at fast-tracking social influence in networks, conducted in collaboration with the University of Utrecht to Master students. This was also an ideal opportunity to engage students with our planned and current research projects, and a good occasion where we advertised possible elective, and graduation projects. First Project Meeting


The first ENRGISED project group meeting was held on the 9th of October at 1400 to 1600 hours. It was an online meeting. The meeting was attended by seventeen participants representing eight of the project partner organisations. One key outcome of the meeting was the two postdoctoral researchers were introduced. They are Jiamin Ou from Utrecht University and Abby Muricho Onencan from the Delft University of Technology. They also presented their current work and a detailed project work plan.

Kick-off meeting


Wednesday 19 February 2020 was the official kick-off meeting of the ENRGISED project. The kick-off meeting took place at the Industrial Design Engineering Faculty of the Delft University of Technology, where all project partners were present. The project, which will be led by TU Delft and will take three years. The meeting agreed that the next steps are mapping existing tools, selecting case study contexts, and studying social contagion networks.

Financing Received


At the end of 2019, the ENRGISED project team received communication from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) that their proposal has been approved for financing. The application had been submitted in April 2019 under the call: Complexity and Creative Industry: Grip on Transitions and Resilience. The seeks to stimulate households to transition away from natural gas towards green energy alternatives. In particular, the project is about shaping energy transition experiments in Dutch cities in collaboration with citizens and other stakeholders.
